He was born in Maracaibo and studied at the José Luis Paz Music Conservatory. He was the only student who got the highest grade of 20 points in the Double Bass subject at this Conservatory. His teachers were Kazimierez Pietrosko and Meciej Sjowkowsky. He has been soloist, composer, arranger and musical producer. He is a staff member of the Maracaibo Symphony Orchestra. He has been one of the most prominent promoters in the development of popular and folk music of Zulia State. Since very young he has participated in acknowledged popular musical groups, among we can mention “Los Mundiales” with a discography of ten albums. He is a member of the Ensamble de Balbino Sánchez. He has been a member of Huáscar Barradas y Maracaibo for 7 years.
